Moving Out

It has been a busy week - the garage sale last Saturday cleared out a lot of our old "Early American Attic" furniture - it amazes me just what people will buy, and, even more so - how desperate some people are to haggle over prices "The price tag says a quarter - will you take a dime for it?"

The kids left yesterday to spend the next week with their grandparents, and Bonnie and I closed on the sale of our house yesterday afternoon - what a "cluster"

The movers are coming today to pack up the house, and the Salvation Army is coming to get the rest of our old furniture and other junk.

The Official Start of My Blogging Career

I have taken the plunge, and started a Blog to keep everyone in Dallas updated regarding my move to North Carolina. I actually won't be leaving for about 5 weeks, but I plan to keep y'all abreast of the moving plans, and post pictures as often as possible (Bonnie will have the digital camera after June 7, so I may need to borrow a camera to keep the blog looking pretty.
